What this site is

Orange City Screens is operated by Brian Higdon, sole proprietor. It is an information and owner-review service, not a contractor. It does not perform or supervise construction and does not automatically route requests to contractors.

Independent contractors

Any later introduction through this site is not a warranty or endorsement. Before hiring anyone, ask for the contractor's license number and current certificate of insurance, then verify the license with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the applicable county building department.

Any contract is between you and the contractor

If you hire someone, that agreement is between you and the contractor. Orange City Screens is not a party to it and does not control the price, schedule, workmanship, warranty, permits or any dispute that follows.

The information on this site

The project guides are general information intended to help you ask better questions. They are not professional, legal, engineering or code advice and are not specific to your property. Only a contractor who has evaluated the project can provide a quote or schedule.

We try to keep statutory and code references accurate and current, and we cite the primary source where we can. Law changes. Confirm anything you intend to rely on.

No promise of a response or introduction

The owner reviews requests manually. Submitting one does not guarantee a response, contractor introduction, quote, pricing, availability, service or any particular timing.

Permission to contact you

The consent box on the owner-review form is unticked by default. Ticking it means Orange City Screens may email you about the request. If you voluntarily provide a phone number, Orange City Screens may also use it for an ordinary person-to-person call or text about the request. Your information is reviewed by the owner and is not automatically routed to contractors. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to texts. A response or contractor introduction is not guaranteed. See the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not submit someone else's email address or phone number, submit requests you do not intend, scrape this site, or use it to send anything unlawful. We may refuse or discard any submission.

Disclaimer and limits

This site is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To that same extent, Brian Higdon, sole proprietor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or from any dealing with a contractor you found through it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the current version.
